hello summer

it is officially summer in my book! i am finished with my seventh year of teaching and am ecstatic to stay at home with my children!!!

we had a busy first weekend full of birthday celebrations, family and friend memorial day cookouts, boating, bike rides, swimming, and play dates. if this is any indication of how summer will be...it's going to rock! :)

kenna swam for the first time and she loved it. i couldn't even get her to look at the camera because she just wanted to splash in the water.

the kids are enjoying their play set and newly finished sand box. i didn't realize how much time they would spend playing in the sand. they both love it! it works out well because it's shaded so i don't have to worry about either of them burning.

we spent the day in plymouth with julie and debbie. the kids played and swam. i loved swimming in a clear, clean pool, so now i'm on a mission to get a pool (it was a boat two days ago...good thing i dream big but rarely pull the trigger! i really want my house paid off first).

we're having a great time together.  greyson always asks me to take pictures of him and kenna when they are cuddling.  i, of course, comply!
