a little spoiling

john works for a great company.  i have been so impressed with them since he first started working there.  it's a family owned business and they treat their employees like family.  they are very good to him, to us really. 

you may have read this post about john winning sales person of the year.  with that, he won a trip to virgin gorda in the british virgin islands. the trip is coming up ever so quickly and to get us ready his work has been sending us little gifts since the beginning of march that all say virgin gorda on them.  they started out small with pens for each of us, then a key chain, a "fan" frame for a lack of a better description, and then a real frame.  i thought this was nice and it definitely made the trip feel more real.  well, last friday, john came home with a big box from work.  they had sent us a piece of luggage and inside the luggage was three items of clothing for me, three for john, a journal that had what we'd be doing each day with a picture, a beach bag, water bottles, hats, all our flight info and itinerary, and some other little goodies. i couldn't believe it. i'm amazed at their generosity and how they are going way out of their way to make us feel appreciated for the long hours that john puts in dealing with sometimes not so pleasant customers.  i'm just so thankful for the company and what they stand for! i couldn't have asked for a better employer for john. 

only nine more days until our adventure starts!! :) we're both really excited and can hardly wait!
