birthday party

we celebrated the  kids' birthdays together this year since they are only a week apart.  i decided not to go with a theme but to focus more on colors and photographs.  i loved how it turned out and was able to use things (like scrapbook pages) that i already had for decorations. 

 john helped kenna open her gifts.  she got so many adorable clothes, a grocery cart, and a riding giraffe toy, and a piggy bank.  we are so thankful for the friends and family who showered her with love. 

 greyson was on his own opening his gifts.  he loved each and every one and wanted everything opened immediately.  he got some nice clothes, a microphone, nerf gun, movie, walkie talkies, and some other great gifts.  he has had a lot of new, fun things to play with this week!

and here is kenna getting ready to dig into her cupcake.  i think she remembered what cake tasted like from last week based on the smile on her face.

john and i got the kids a play set for their birthday.  kenna loves to swing and greyson seems to enjoy it all!  here are some of the "boys" checking it out.  :)

i thank God everyday for the two, healthy, loving children that He blessed me with.  celebrating them is a reminder of the gift that they truly are.
