new milestones

kenna is growing so much and is changing daily.  she surprised us all monday night by sitting up by herself multiple times.  these four pictures were taken one right after another.  it seemed like she knew that she was doing something good because she had a huge smile on her face the entire time. 

we made the transition to formula now that i'm back to work.  i don't necessarily miss nursing but i did/do feel guilty stopping so much earlier with kenna than i did greyson.  it has been much easier and i'm not as stressed now that john can help out with the feedings.  i started her on rice cereal shortly after she turned four months old but was very inconsistent about feeding it to her (she maybe had it five or six times that whole month....not because she didn't like it, but she was content without it so i didn't mess with it).  in the last two weeks she's had it everyday and i finally have started feeding her fruits and veggies.  she loved the peaches but was a little unsure about peas the first time i gave them to her.  now she devours them in no time.  i have a feeling she's going to be just like her brother and love anything we put in front of her. 

i'm loving having a girl.  it's so much fun to dress her and put bows on her head.  i just can't believe she is growing so quickly.  i love my girl so much!!!
