4 months old

i sure hope you don't get tired of hearing about my little kenna girl. then again, too bad if you do! :)

kenna is four months old!!! here are some things she's been up to:

*she rolled over from her back to her stomach first. usually she rolls over when she is mad that she is on the floor.

*she's only rolled over from her stomach to her back a few times (usually babies do this first but again, we hardly ever put her on her stomach)

*she has discovered her feet. i love it when she grabs both of her feet with her hands. it just melts my heart.

*we got out the exersaucer today. she loved exploring the new toys and being upright.

*she is SOOO slobbery (which i can't stand) and i'm pretty sure she is cutting teeth.

*she weighed 17.5 lbs (97th percentile)

*she is 26.5 inches long (98th percentile)

*her head is 17 inches (93rd percentile)

*she's off her medicine which is causing he to spit up a lot (again, i can't stand this-ha!) but she isn't screaming like she did before...thank the Lord!

*she babbles all the time

*she likes to be held or at least be able to see you

*she's definitely a momma's girl. she will be perfectly happy with me and as soon as i pass her on to john she starts crying. she will follow me with her eyes and as soon as i take her again, she's happy. it's kind of cute, even though it bothers john.

*some days she naps wonderfully and other days not so much. i'm hoping once i'm back to work she'll be on more of a schedule

this month will bring about some changes as i head back to work. it hasn't really hit me yet, but i'm sure that first week back will be rough. i have enjoyed being home with her!
