our week in bullets
*greyson started swim lessons last monday. he has such a good time while we are there and adores his personal swim (splash) instructor aaron. he also likes it that he gets to see elijah everyday. i'm thinking about signing him up for another round yet this summer. it's a great way to get us all up and out of the house and gives us something to look forward to.
*i've been hitting a few garages sales and found some good deals. greyson loves his chair (i'm going to attempt to reupholster it soon!) and his paint station.
*kenna slept in her crib for the first time last night (june 11th). i wasn't sure if she'd stay asleep all night in her new surroundings, but she did. :) my baby girl sure is a sleeper!

*i'm challening myself to spend time this summer teaching greyson bible stories. we started out with creation and have spent time learning about what God created on day 1 and day 2. for each day of creation i have several activies planned out. we've made crafts, played flashlight tag in the basement (God made light), sang our creation song, played with clouds (ice cubes)/water (God made clouds and seas). it's been fun! i hope to keep this up all summer and even into the school year if i can. there are soooo many good resources on the internet to help plan and what's more important for him to learn!?!

*i also taught greyson how to play tic-tac-toe. we used his window markers and played on the window! i think i enjoyed the window markers more than greyson...they are fun!
ahhh, i love summer!

Wow you are doing some really awesome things! You are one incredible mother! You are right, there is nothing more important than learning about the Bible. I love that you are sharing that with him. Really, I am just wow'd! And Kenna is so adorable! I can't wait to see her on Saturday!
You are such a great mom, Jessica! I might have to steal the Bible stories idea. I love it! Plus it gives you a time every day where you're focused on your older kid. That's nice.
You guys have been busy! That's awesome that you're teaching Greyson different Bible stories. I just got out the kids Bible this week and they already have some favorites!
