yesterday we celebrated greyson's third birthday! it's hard to believe in a few short weeks he will actually be three. life has changed so much since the day he was born (for the better of course). i am so thankful for him and the blessing he is in my life. i'm also thankful for all the family and friends who came to help him celebrate. it was a great day! he really understood that people were there for him, to celebrate and love on.
he informed me months ago that he wanted an elephant party. i wasn't sure why he chose this, but i went with it. i decided to make my own decorations and keep things simple. i made and decorated the cupcakes with the help of my mother. i was happy with how things turned out. it was more fun making things than buying and i saved a lot of money too!
he was showered with some amazing gifts and he is constantly going from one thing to the next. here are a few pics from the shindig (i didn't take as many as i would have liked and i didn't really get any of the guests. i think it has something to do with the fact that i can't get around as easily as normal! ;) ).
everything went as planned and i wasn't stressed at all. i think the birthday party/hostessing thing gets easier the more you do it. :) i had made a video of pictures from the previous year and it went along with a version of happy birthday that was a little more fun and upbeat than the traditional version. for some reason we couldn't get it to show on our tv like i thought we'd be able to do so no one got to see it. i'm working on getting it uploaded on here but it's currently not working either.

First, he is such a blessing! Second, it was an incredible party for him! The decorations were ADORABLE! You could definitely see the love you all put into it and the party was awesome! Third, you can most certainly get around well. :) It may not be very comfortable, but you amazed me how much you can still do! I am so impressed! Love ya!
We had such a great time at Greyson's party. You could tell that he was soooo excited to have everyone over. And it was a wonderful idea to have it early so he got all of the attention. Em really likes the whistle so got from the treat bag. She is so proud of herself when she blows it!
