it's all about....GREYSON!

this weekend john and i decided to take greyson on a little get-a-way! we wanted to give him some extra lovin' since in five weeks or less he's going to have to share mommy and daddy. he loves to swim so we decided to go to indianapolis and stay in a hotel. he got to wear his new swim trunks and was right at home in the water. after a few minutes he was jumping off the sides saying, "don't need your help, move!" don't worry, he would pop right back up to the top since he wore his arm floaties! :) uncle toby and trent came and went out to eat with us and even came back to swim some. greyson enjoyed seeing them since he hardly ever gets to!

saturday we got up and went swimming again because that is all this little boy could talk about! :) then we picked up uncle trent and headed to the children's museum. we couldn't believe how busy it was, however, we still had a great time going through the dora exhibit and playing in playspace which is designed for children 5 and under. greyson also enjoyed looking at the dinosaur exhibit. afterwards, we left the museum and headed to downtown to eat at a place my brother said was really good. unfortunately, wrestling state finals was going on and something must have ended right when we got there because there was a flood of people and the restaurant where we wanted to go had a looonnnnng wait, so we went somewhere else. it was still good and unique so we were all okay with it. greyson did a fantastic job being on the go all weekend and seemed to really enjoy himself. i'm thankful we are able to do things like this with him. he's so special and we love him very much!

(julie: i had planned on calling on saturday to let you know we were in town so we could meet carter but by saturday afternoon we were tuckered out and just wanted to go home. i will get down there sometime soon! :) let me know if you are in plymouth anytime soon and i can come and visit there too!)
