gadgets and glasses...

this past weekend john and i finally caught up with the times and got new blackberries thanks to my brothers who get a 27% discount through their employer. i always made fun of people who thought they had to have internet, email, etc. on their phones, but now i'm one of those dorks who "can't live without it". i love that i am notified immediately when i get an email, can check fb and blogs anytime i want, and can actually text without it costing 25 cents per text. we've changed carriers and are spending $40 less a month for the data plan vs. just having a calling plan with our old carrier. saving money is great and so are new gadgets! :)

john and i also joined the glasses world. john got his last weekend and i got mine this weekend. it's going to take a while to get used to them, but i already notice a big difference. hopefully the headaches will cease and i won't be soooo tired all the time from squinting. how do they look??? okay, this isn't the best picture, but it's the best we could get as john won't sit still because he's to excited for the ND game to start. :)
