last saturday was john's birthday. we celebrated friday night by dropping greyson off at the frye's and heading to fort wayne. i kept john in suspense as to where we were going. once we got closer he knew right away. i have been telling him i wanted to take him to flatt top grill since the first time i went there almost a year ago. we had an enjoyable time eating dinner and just being with each other. he loved the food and said it's his new favorite place to eat. too bad it isn't a little closer! afterwards we walked to barnes and noble and read some books while enjoying star bucks. we used to do this frequently when we lived in granger. it's one of our favorite things to do. to some of you it might seem funny to go to a bookstore on a date and read, but we love it! it's so relaxing and we both are doing something we enjoy but rarely have time for.
i'm thankful for the time we got to spend with each other and for john being another year older! thanks hahns and fryes for watching greyson so we could celebrate john! :)
