family visit

my aunt, cousin, and her two boys were visiting from north carolina. it's always a little hectic around here when they are here. last thursday i got a babysitter for the three boys and all of us girls went to the shipshewana flee market. i'm not usually a huge fan because it seems like it's just a bunch of junk and it's really busy. we picked the perfect day to go. the weather was cooler and it drizzled while we were there, but there wasn't a lot of people. i even managed to find a few deals. :) here's a picture of my cousin andrea and me.

we also had many dinners/cookouts during their stay. these times were always full of craziness! her boys are very hyper and get wound up easily. they actualy posed for a picture with their favorite gal in indiana!

i had to include this one of grandpa and greyson. my grandma has a pond in her backyard and it was very hard to keep greyson away from the water. luckily james and michael did a good job of redirecting him when grandpa wasn't there to play! :)

we went on a zoo trip while they were here. they go to the zoo all the time in NC (a huge one that's really cool) but they were still entertained by our little rinky dink potawatomi zoo. greyson enjoyed looking at the animals and i was glad to have aunt jen there to help chase him!! we had a picnic lunch at the park. it was an enjoyable day!

it was a good week with them. i'm glad they were able to make the trip up.

How fun...what a great family visit!!!! The zoo is always a good time no matter how big! Plus, the smaller the zoo the cheaper it is :) I love the picture of Greyson playing in the water!

Sounds like you had a great visit with your family. Do you take turns visiting each other every summer?

how is the 100 push-up program going for you? i think i'm going to try it out. there is a sit-up one too isn't there? i might try that too.

rach you should totally do it!! it's fun and challenging but i already have seen a huge difference. i repeated week 1 because i couldn't complete it without doing girl pushups. when i repeated it i was able to do all real pushups. i'm only on day one of week two but i was able to do it all. i am planning on doing the sit-up one after the pushups.
