so here's the finished product. the plants look small, but once they start to take off it will be a lot fuller. now we're starting on the other half of the front of the house. our goal was to have it done by this weekend, but my dad has been using his truck so we haven't even started. it feels good knowing we did it ourselves and saved a lot of money in the process.
sunday was john's first father's day. i don't need it to be father's day to tell john how great of a dad he is. i tell him quite often because i really think he is one of the best dads around. he helps out with greyson soooo much. he's on diaper duty as soon as he gets home from work 
so i rarely have to change his diaper once john comes home. he loves to cuddle and hold him and play with him. i know many dads don't particularly care for little ones, but john does so well with him. i couldn't do it without him. john can also tell when i need a break. he's always willing to take over just so i can have a few minutes to myself. thanks for being you! we love you!!we spent the day at his mom's house with his brother's family. their kids are getting so big and are lots of fun to be with. next weekend we are celebrating father's day with our dads since we didn't get to on father's day.

The landscaping looks great so far! Thank goodness it's been cool this week so you can work outside a hardly break a sweat.
