{kenna's 10th birthday party}

 kenna wanted to go big this year for her birthday party since she couldn't have one last year and it was her 10th birthday party.  she was so excited! she decided to have a harry potter party. she looked at pinterest and found lots of ideas. she did everything herself to make it come together...everything from finding decorations for me to purchase, the exact cake she wanted, and planned all the activities for the girls.  she had a blast doing it.  

we got her cake from the pretty cakery in town and it was soooo good. much better than the first one we got there for john's birthday when she first opened. i've never spent that much on a cake but i just couldn't say no. :) 

kenna got a lot of fun things from her friends. she is really in to fidget toys (it's all the rage in fourth grade.  they trade them at recess so she is always coming home with something new.) she also got a bracelet, pens, and a journal.  

the girls watched movies, played bingo, and completed a harry potter scavenger hunt.  there was a little drama, but i'm put an end to that pretty quickly. ;) they had a dance party outside after dark and entertained the amish buggies driving by.  

the weather was nice so the girls got to play outside a lot which was nice.  i dropped them off nice and early the next day because kenna and chloe had a group piano lesson and some of the other girls had a cheer clinic to go to.  one of the girls woke up stuffy and about an hour after going home her mom said she had a fever. she got tested for covid and we were all worried we'd have to quarantine all those girls.  thankfully she tested negative and we got to go on with life as normal.
