you are 7! it seems like so long ago since we brought you home from the hospital.  you are getting so big and strong, and opinionated.  you care so deeply for your brother and get very upset when he's getting in trouble.  you stick up for him and try to talk us out of a consequence for him. you are tender hearted and aren't afraid to show your emotions.

you love to draw and watch youtube videos teaching you how to draw things.  you do a great job with your creations.  you proudly display them on the fridge and in your room.  you want to keep everything you've ever made. i love seeing your creative side. 

you love to be outdoors.  it doesn't matter if you are on the lake or on the slopes.  you like to snuggle and play board games.  you love to win but are a good sport when you don't.  when dad and i go for walks, you often join in just to be with us.  you are so fun to be around! 

you are enjoying school so much more this year since you are in the same class as graham.  you are learning so much but school still isn't your favorite thing.  you love to play catch, ride four wheelers, and hunt.  you refuse to join in any organized sports but we know you would enjoy it if you would.  we did make you do a wrestling camp and you cried the first night of practice, but then enjoyed it after that.  

you love watching youtube and making messes. getting muddy and cutting wood with dad and grandpa is also something you really enjoy.  at the lake you love to tube and kneeboard.  you are really good at pulling yourself up and caught on right away.  

we love you so much and are so thankful you are in our family.  happy 7th birthday!
