the twins are so shy that they never want to play organized sports. they love playing in the backyard with their friends and family but getting out in front of people is not their thing. they kept going back and forth about trying wrestling. we finally had one say he'd do it, so we made the other one. ha! there were some tears the first night but after that they got over it.
they were very aggressive and both won all their matches. they aren't sure if they like wrestling or not. we were just glad they tried something and we hope it encourages them to try other things. greyson helped coach and was definitely in his element.
november didn't quite end like we had hoped. john and i both got covid and we were quarantined through thanksgiving. thankfully we felt pretty good for the most part but had a few rougher days. we both were very tired and achy, had a cough, and runny nose. john had a fever and lost his smell and taste but i didn't. the kids never showed symptoms but had to be quarantined longer than we did since they were close contacts. they were really ready to get back to school. john and i both figured we'd get it at some point working in a school and him constantly in and out of restaurants. i couldn't be more thankful for when we got it because i only had to miss three days of work and john only missed a week because a lot of our quarantine was over thanksgiving week when we were both off. it was tough going back to work and then having to help the twins after that to do their e-learning. i was still tired and not at 100%. thankfully, john took over the cooking while i helped them with it. that was plus! :)
