we were blessed with a snow day in november. it was such a fun day where we stayed in our pjs all day and played games, went for sled rides, and i finally got some things hung up on the walls. it was great. i'm sure i won't feel that way in january when we have to make it up though.
john and i went to a wedding for one of john's coworkers in valpo. it was an early afternoon wedding but the reception wasn't until 7 so we headed to bass pro and enjoyed some appetizers, got some christmas shopping done, and just enjoyed the day together. the reception was at an apple orchard and there were three receptions going on. the place was huge and very beautiful. it made for a long day and a late night.
thanksgiving was spent at john's mom's house. we also stopped by my parents in the evening. we failed to take a decent picture but we had a great day being with family.
on saturday we went to notre dame and went ice skating. kenna took chloe along and loved having another girl with us. graham and easton did well and even were skating without the walker by the end. we stopped for fro yo and made an afternoon of it.
