the kids had a great time at the fall fest again this year. there wasn't as many people as in year's past, but we still had several hundred people attend. the fall fest isn't something i particularly enjoy and i'm always glad when it's over.
chloe came and kenna and her enjoyed running around together. greyson manned a game for me because we had a few people back out last minute. i was so thankful for his serving heart because he didn't get to do all the other activities and didn't complain once.
this school year has gone so quickly. both kids did well on their report cards. the fourth and fifth graders have an awards ceremony. i was going to try to go but i was also videotaping a lesson to submit to my boss for an observation and i totally forgot about the assembly until i saw parents walking past my room as they were leaving. i felt bad but was grateful a co-worker snapped some pictures for me.
