i usually don't do a whole lot of baking/making of anything at christmas because i always get lots of sweets from students in my class. however, john requested that i make pb ritz dipped with white chocolate. being the goods wow that i am, i obliged. 😉 i had some cute helpers.
greyson has really gotten into monopoly so we've played quite a few rounds. he's very competitive and likes to win.
christmas eve we celebrated with john's extended family. since grandma hummel passed this year, this will probably be the last time we all get together on christmas eve. the kids have a blast running around with their cousins and get spoiled by all the aunts. grandma barb gave all the kids reindeer food so when we got home they opened their new pajamas and scattered food so the reindeer could find our house.
it was a christmas miracle- the kids actually slept in a little on christmas day! we all got some great gifts from santa. greyson has officially stopped believing in santa. 😒 he wasn't very discrete keeping it a secret but thankfully kenna never caught on.
the kids each got one toy and some clothes. kenna was a little dramatic and didn't think kids should get clothes for christmas. we also took them to great wolf lodge as part of their gift.
after we opened gifts we went to church. it was a great celebration. here we are in our sunday best. 
we went to mom and dad's for lunch. we had prime rib and lots of other delicious food. the kids love spending time with toby and trent. we had a great day!
