{memorial day weekend}

john and some of his buddies from church always go to porcupine mountain for a fishing trip.  john thought greyson was old enough to go now that he can bait and cast his own line.  greyson was beyond excited! while there, greyson learned how to take his own fish off the hook.  he's growing up too fast! when he got home I asked him if he was going to go again and he said he thought he'd wait till he was older because of the hike up and down the mountain. apparently he didn't handle that too well!

 

 

this year, jennifer faller invited me and kenna to go to wisconsin to her mom's house.  i jumped at the opportunity so I didn't have to be home alone all weekend.  her mom watched the three girls for us while we went shopping.  we went to gurnee mills on saturday and an outlet mall on sunday.  they were having great sales because of the holiday weekend.  i bought a ton of stuff all for great prices! it was fun to have some girl time! we went to church on sunday and i was nervous about how kenna would respond to strangers in the nursery but she walked right in and didn't even look back.  she's growing up too fast too! while we were shopping the kids went to monkey joes and to the park.  kenna loved it.
