chicago fun

john and i went to the cubs game with some friends. the cubs actually won! although, i must admit, i was too busy people watching and didn't see most of the game. i think my favorite part was singing go cubs, go after their victory! after the game we stayed downtown in a hotel and enjoyed the time we had without our kids. it was fabulous!

the next day we went downtown to explore. we got to see the transformer 3 set where they were filming on michigan ave. it was neat to be able to see in person and i can't wait to see the movie. we ate lunch at magianos and had a good time shopping and site seeing.

it's always nice to get away and this was the perfect way for john's vacation week to end...fun in chicago with friends!
