a few weekends back john and i were treated to a special night in our honor by some awesome friends! we were kept in suspense and had no idea what the night was going to entail. for those of you who know me, that drove me crazy! it actually was bothering john too, which surprised me, because normally he doesn't try to figure things out. the night couldn't have been more perfect. we had fondue...which was AMAZING!
i had never had the experience of having a whole fondue meal and have always wanted one. it was so fun to sit and converse while waiting for the wonderfully marinated steak and chicken to cook. then we moved on to dessert. the chocolate covered fruit was exceptional. the boys were creative and started dipping spoonfuls of peanut butter directly into the chocolate. now john wants to get a fondue pot just so he can recreate the reese yumminess.
thank you hahns and fryes for such a fabulous night. it was wonderful and meant more than you will ever know. we are blessed to have such thoughtful friends!
